Melissa and Howard had an amazing outdoor wedding. I love a wedding in a back yard. Everyone feels at home and relaxed. Most of the weddings I went to growing up were backyard, ranch weddings. So needless to say I felt right at home with the guests at Melissa and Howards wedding. I love that they were married under a tree. I love even more that it was budding at the time. A budding tree is such a beautiful symbol of their new family. One day I hope they go back and take more pictures of them and their family together under that tree. I don't think Melissa and her coordinator Nikki missed a detail. Everything tied together beautifully. And I have not yet met such a laid back wedding party.
After this wedding I decided I should shoot all my weddings wearing boots. Those girls looked comfy on their feet. Plus!! How beautiful are these boots?
Burlap ring pillow! Adorable!
Melissa's garter. Perfect, Right?
Her jewelry choices were amazing.

That looks like a man in love with his beautiful woman to me!
These two laughed a lot on their wedding day and that makes me smile now thinking about it.
The aisle was marked with Sheppard's hooks with candles and flowers.
They had candles hanging in the tree for their ceremony.
More burlap and turquoise on the tables.
Their cake with their brand for a topper.
