Hi and Welcome!
I am Stephanie, of Stephanie Horwedel Photography. Here is a little about me!
I grew up in a very small town in northern California. I lived on a ranch but dreamed of living in the city. I went to college at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. The central coast is my heaven on Earth. I love it there. I will go there any day for a photography shoot.
I got married to my college sweet heart and we moved to Los Angeles City. We lived in Van Nuys and quickly yearned to go back to the space of the country. It was the space that I missed the most.
Currently my family lives in Bakersfield. It is a good blend of space and city. We love the friends and family we have here. I have three children who keep me very busy. I like being busy and I love them to pieces. It is amazing how different each of them is. My husband and I have been married for 15 years. He is why I love weddings and the celebration of love.
I am a very down to earth girl who has a hard time not wearing yoga pants every day. I’m a practical girl because of my roots. I learned the true value of hard work from being a kid helping build fences, work cattle, cut hay and harvest garlic with my family. I pride myself on work ethic and happy clients. My clients become family to me. I work so hard to make them happy and comfortable with me on their wedding day.
Most of all I love wedding photography. Nothing excites me more than weddings. It is the happiest day of a couple’s life. There is nothing more beautiful than a bride and her groom starting their lives together. I like to capture the moments of the day. The little looks and smiles and laughs that only a professional can capture by paying attention to the details. Because I am very task oriented I help you keep your big day on track so you don't have to stress about it.
I can't wait to meet and talk with you about your photographic needs.
